Hi all. If you're reading this, I just want to give a quick disclaimer. This is not a real cult. This started as an inside joke among friends back in August 2022. It kept getting wilder and wilder just to shock them; the Kit Kat question started as a mishearing. I can back all up with messages and texts. I had completely forgotten about Dustin's use of "curiosity voyage" on Stranger Things until rewatching the series in 2023; I had only seen that season once, as it was my least favorite. It bummed me out a little, feeling like it wasn't as creative anymore, but I still wanted to make it into an internet mystery. Unfortunately, things got weird with the whole Conformity Gate situation. It's really made me feel less passionate about my project. Don't get me wrong, I love Stranger Things, and it's nice that the fandom is still alive and thriving, but y'all: I'm not a clue for it. Stranger Things fans, thank you for finding my site. Thank you for loving the same show I do. I'm just sad to say I have no part in it. You guys are creative though. Most all my artistic decisions are random and just for my own amusement. It's gotten a little crazy and it's been affecting my mental health a bit, just because I wanted to make something wild, cursed, and origninal – like, after encountering the Curiosity Voyage line in Season 2, I wanted to keep it as separate and non-ST as I could because I don't like accidentally ripping things off. It's made me a bit anxious and uncomfortable because I didn't want to ruin the project by breaking the 4th wall, but I guess I have to. Even the radio station in S5 was a bit of a bummer because I'd been working on ideating QRCT long before it was a thing on the show. Again, I commend you for your sleuthing, but please, I'm not part of it. I know some of you will think this is another clue. It's not. I don't know what else to tell you guys. I'm pretty sure Season 5 was the end. It wasn't the best ending, but I feel okay with it. We're not getting more of the main series, guys. It was a good run. I'd love to get back to my weird project now, free of ST. Please respect my wishes and mental health as a creative and an artist; I want to go back to making stuff for this again without it being analyzed for clues, because it's stifled and paralyzed my fire to work on this. I really wanted to keep this mysterious, cryptic, and fun, so I'm so bummed about breaking the 4th wall. Thank you for reading. I'm just begging please, please let me have my project sans ST; it took me forever to get back into a creative groove and this has been disheartening for me because it makes me want to keep my art to myself going forward.
